Patio privacy and weather screens are perfect for brightening up your patio area — without leaving it open to prying eyes from neighbours or passers-by. You can create a vibrant outdoor entertaining area that still feels secluded for your family and guests.

Patio privacy screens are also great for shielding your outdoor areas from the harsh Queensland weather. You never need to feel stuck indoors with the year-round sun, wind and rain protection provided by our outdoor screens for patios.

Outdoor patio screens designed for your needs

At Altec, we’re experts in constructing outdoor living areas for Queensland conditions. All our screens and louvres are built with low-maintenance high-quality materials designed to withstand the elements. After decades of building patios and screens throughout Brisbane, Ipswich, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba and Northern NSW, our design experts have the know-how you need to make the most of your patio and outdoor space.

Our outdoor privacy screens, louvres, blinds and lattices all come in a range of designs, styles and finishes to match your existing outdoor area. Manufactured from the same materials as our patios and carports, they’ll blend in seamlessly to your house while providing extra privacy and weather protection. They even work beautifully as decorative elements to create a feature wall or enhance the look of windows and highly mounted roof designs such as fly-over patio covers or carports.

Patio privacy screens add value to your home

With our custom-designed outdoor privacy screens from Altec, you’ll always have a comfortable environment to relax while enhancing your home’s street appeal. The vast range of features that make our privacy and weather screens ideal for your patio at home include:

A palette of designer colours to choose from to blend with your existing patio or home
Colour coated matching available for most products in the range
Low to no-maintenance materials designed to withstand the weather and keep your screens looking flawless even after years of outdoor use
Powder-coated finishes that lock the colour in, meaning you’ll never need to paint your screens!
Finishes that are chip-resistant and won’t peel or crack, ensuring your new patio privacy screen is long lasting and hard wearing
Unlike wooden lattice or bamboo screens, your Altec weather and privacy screening will never be damaged by termites nor will they rot or warp in damp conditions.

Choose from a selection of outdoor privacy screen types

Altec’s large range of privacy and weather screens for patios are an elegant addition to any home. Made from durable yet stylish materials, our outdoor patio screen panels are designed to provide protection from the elements and create more privacy and security while still maintaining an open outdoor living space.

Colourcoated Lattice

Lattice has been used in garden and patio design for decades. But traditional wooden lattice rots and warps over time and its finish ages very quickly, leaving it tired and saggy after only a year or two in the sun. Colourcoated lattice installed by Altec is a great low-maintenance, stylish and hardwearing alternative that will stand up to the sun and rain without losing its appeal.

Colourcoated Slats

If you’d prefer a more minimal, contemporary look and feel, then why not consider our Colourcoated slatting in place of lattice screening? Designed to be functional and attractive, our slatting will effectively increase your privacy and shade without detracting from the street appeal of your home.

Static Louvres

If your patio is dark and stuffy, why not install Altec’s static louvres in the roofing to allow more light and airflow? Also ideal as privacy screening, our louvres come in a range of colours and finishes to add that designer touch to your home.

Blinds

Our blinds give you the freedom to enjoy your privacy in a light and airy outdoor area. Their adjustability lets you get the most out of every day, no matter what the weather is doing!
