Do You Want Value For Money?

PAY FOR! Choose carefully. The lighter weight the brand of
Patio Cover’... the cheaper it will be.
What material
a brand is made from (type of metal, paint finish etc.) will
affect the cost. What shape (profile) will also affect the
cost. Generally the flatter the sheet the cheaper it is to
manufacture The more intricate the shape the stronger the
brand and the more it will cost . A simple overlap or crimp
lock join is cheaper however a positive or absolute lock is
much stronger, certainly won’t leak and spans further.
However it will cost a little more.
Some will
have better finishes than others and will stay looking new
for much longer than others. This too will affect the cost
of one Patio Cover verses another. Better quality heavier
‘W’ profile Patio Covers will last longer than
lighter weight Patio Covers.

Do I Need a Qld Building Services
Authority Insurance Policy?

says: “If your project is in Queensland and is over
$3300, you MUST have a QBSA policy. Other states may require
insurance policies from private firms.”

also need to know that your Builder is registered and possesses
the relevant Registration Authority Card. A reputable builder
will usually ware this Registration card upon their person
in clear view for the Client to see.”

What If I Live Within 2 km of
a Marine Environment?

Limited Warranty)by often unavoidable conditions such as living
near the ocean, canals or even saltwater swimming pools.”

brands will offer Guarantees where these types of conditions
will not be imposed or put you at risk. Preferably choose
a Patio Cover brand that offers a ‘Guarantee’
